Target Coupons Your Way Through “Back To School” Shopping

Hard to believe it’s that time of year again! But the new school season will be quickly approaching before we know it. Only downfall of it is that buying all the school supplies for your little one can really rack up a hefty bill. Follow these top five tips on how to Target coupons your way through “Back To School” shopping and save your money!

1. Search The House First You wouldn’t believe how much supplies you actually have just laying around your house that you could be using as school supplies for your kids! Look in kitchen drawers, through your office, and in your children’s desks and you may end up finding half your list!

2. Stick to the Teacher’s List I can’t tell you how many times I get to Office Depot or Staples and I start going off the tracks because there are so many cute things there for kids! But usually those rack up more than the supplies you actually need, so just stick to what you need and maybe one side treat for the little one.

3. Compare the Flyers Just last week I was comparing an Office Max flyer to a Staples flyer and then I mapped out which supplies was cheapest and where. As long as the stores aren’t miles apart from one another, you can go to a 2-3 stores to get your supplies.

4. Buy School Supplies on a Sales Tax Holiday By purchasing your school supplies on a Sales Tax Holiday, you avoid having to pay taxes on it! You can check to see which dates are Sales Tax Holidays for your state at wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax holiday

5. Finally – USE COUPONS! I obviously feel very strongly about this one! For back to school shopping season, stores such as Walmart, Target, Staples, and Office Depot are all competing against one another to get you to shop at their stores. So they are pumping out some awesome deals and coupons such as baby coupons, household coupons, target coupons etc, but it’s your responsibility to find these deals. Coupon-Smart also publishes new coupons, deals, and freebies every day so check back to www.coupon-smart.com regularly.

5 Tips for Couponing at Walgreens

Many people associate Walgreens as a pharmacy and therefore, over priced. Well, to be honest, most of their products are grossly over priced, but if you find the sales and partner those sales with Target Coupons, you can actually get products cheaper at Walgreens than at Walmart! Here are five things to remember when you are about to head to Walgreens with your coupon binder:

Coupon Policy

Walgreens has a very easy couponing policy to follow. They will ONLY accept one manufacturer’s coupon and one Walgreen’s coupon PER item. So that allows you to actually use two coupons (1 manufacturer & 1 Walgreens).

Cashiers

One of my top reasons why I love couponing at Walgreens (besides the deals I get!) is that it’s so much less stress than couponing at larger department stores such as Walmart and Target. Walgreens usually has one cashier in the cosmetics department, one in the photography department, and two or three cashiers at the front of the store. I usually go to the one in the cosmetics department because it’s quieter and allows me to think clearer.

Using Coupons

When you get to the cashier, you need to give the cashier your coupons in a particular order in order to reap the savings properly. First, give the cashier the manufacturer coupons, then give them the Walgreens in-ad coupons, and finally, (if you have one) use your $5.00 Register Rewards to get an additional $5.00 off your entire purchase.

Honor Rain Checks

Walgreens is very well known in the couponing community for honoring rain checks. So if an item on sale is all sold-out, don’t forget to ask for a rain check and then you can use your manufacturer coupon with it when the product arrives.

Clearance

This is my FAVORITE part of shopping at Walgreens! Walgreens doesn’t really have a sectioned off “Clearance” area, so their clearance items are dispersed amongst the store and it’s your job to find them. They have some amazing clearance deals that if you can find, and partner with a coupon, you can sometimes get the product for nearly FREE!

Hope these tips have helped you! Coupon-Smart is constantly posting manufacturer coupons, Walgreens coupons, coupon codes, Target Coupons, and much more so check back daily for new deals!

Top 5 Couponing Tips

Some people have the idea that couponing is a very easy task to do, however, it takes a lot of careful planning, organizing, and timing. You need to ensure you have the coupons(Target Coupons) closest to expiration ready to use so you don’t waste them, then other coupons can only be used on one particular day, and others are store-specific. So here are five tips to always remember when you are couponing:

You Can ONLY Use 1 Coupon Per Item

This is a very common misconception. You can’t use two coupons on the same product. For example, if you have 2 coupons for $0.50 off margarine, you can’t use both coupons on one tub of margarine because the cashier will not allow this.

Do NOT Photocopy Coupons

So many people have offered to photocopy a coupon ( Household Coupons) for me before, not knowing this is totally illegal. Copying coupons is one of the main reasons many brands cannot issue coupons because people copy/forge them to create counterfeit coupons.

You CAN Use a Coupon on Clearance Items

Unless it is clearly stated on the coupon, you should be allowed to use coupons on items that are on sale or in the clearance section of the store. Actually, this is how you save the most money! If you can find an item that is already reduced and use a coupon on it, sometimes you end up getting the item for FREE!

Watch the Cashier AND Read Your Receipt

Since you are taking the time to coupon, you really want to ensure you are saving as much money as possible on your purchases. So watch the cashier ring each item in to ensure the prices coming up are correct and also read over your receipt either at the store, in the parking lot, or when you get home to ensure the cashier registered all coupons correctly.

Don’t Fear the Cashier

Most cashiers absolutely HATE Target Coupons because they take longer to ring in than other customers and it creates more work for the cashier. So some cashiers will try and argue that you can’t use certain coupons, and if this happens don’t be afraid to ask for a manager to confirm that you can’t actually use the coupons.

Family Vacations - Planning a vacation anytime soon…

Planning a vacation anytime soon? It can be a challenging job to find a destination that everyone is happy with and of course, at an affordable price. A very popular family vacation idea is of course, going to Walt Disney Land. Walt Disney Land has many locations around the world and provides a magical experience for your little ones. Your kids can experience the magic from their favorite childhood stories, rides, and meet the characters from their favorite movies.
Disney offers many types of vacation options such as resorts, parks, hotels, and cruises. To cut back on costs, many families book their own hotel and then buy hopper passes to the parks as opposed to staying on the actual resort, which can be more expensive if you can’t find a good deal. The largest aspect of vacation planning is to do your research, compare prices on different vacation websites, and take advantage of discounts wherever you can get them.
Disney Vacations Discounts
A few Disney vacation packages for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida if you travel between January 2 and February 20, you can save 35% when you book your stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. The typical vacation time in Disney is usually around March and April, so if you can book your vacation at another time, not only is it usually more quite at the Disney parks (less time waiting in line), but you can also save money on the vacation. So in closing you should remember that finding a cheap Disney vacation package takes a lot of research and of course check back to Household Coupons regularly for the latest discounts.
